Don't use marine tex, it discolors over time. Use a product called "Polyester Putty Gelcoat Putty White"  from FGCI.

https://www.amazon.in/FGCI-Gelcoat-Putty-White-Pint/dp/B01FYC27DG

Easier to work with and matches white gel coats pretty dang good.

I am in Miami and I know who sells it locally, but look around where you are at it should be readily available at any local marine supply since the company is out of St. Pete.

Disregard the pricing from Mumbai in the link, but it is inexpensive, just bought a quart for $20 from my supplier.

You saved my life! I have a couple of dings and dents under the hole that I want to patch up, and now I know what product to use instead of marine tech.
