1971 Hewes Bonefisher Restoration

Poling platform has been raised, a “step” added and powder coated. I’m happy with the completed project. 
 

Time to get back on the water! See y’all on the flats.

Really, really nice work there!!! :)  Nice move on the Zuke, you should see at least double the mileage and much quieter operation!!

@geeviam I have about 5 hours on the motor so far. It is much quieter than my old 2 stroke but it’s also heavier. Has a great hole shot to get up on a plane but I’ve noticed I have to utilize my trim tabs a bit more with passengers on the boat. I haven’t been about 5000rpm nor have had ideal water conditions but have seen her run 30mph.
