Got into a nicw grade of fish 30 inch class. Saw about 50 gannets just floating in 60 feet of water in an area of 3 to 5 acres. Fish finder lite up. Remind me a lot of Snook in their structure oruentation and habits, only meaner, probably stupider or at least greedier, and more plentiful at certain times. How deep were they? We have a ball with them on Topwater in the Pamlico. Down here in the Cape Fear River, the populations were almost wiped out. Starting to make a comeback, though.
