Capt. Troy
Inside of 70 feet yesterday and a limit for 5 in 20 minutes. They were so thick we could not get live bait to the gags. We tried to gag fish in 3 spots and only managed 2 26 inch fish. We were out of bait and headed in by 11:30 am
DonV
Nice job Capt.!!! Good to see you were able to limit out with some nice ones within the 11.5 hour recreational season!
Capt. Troy
We kept the rest of the frozen bait and planned on going back on my buddies boat as it is fast. The radar this morning changed our plans. Looks iffy tomorrow as well. I can wait on better weather. I have 49 days. The ARS were chasing their buddies to the top when hooked. At one point there was a red ball of fish down 15 feet. We moved 3 times to try and catch gags and the ARS were knocking hand sized pinfish off the hooks 30 feet off the bottom. We burned up 100 pinfish in about an hour.

DonV
Nice job Capt.!! Looking at the radar a few minutes ago, maybe today the ARS will have an even chance against you!
