smooth move Posted July 5, 2016 Report Share Posted July 5, 2016 went to east bay friday afternoon with no luck. fished west bay around greens cut and n deer island saturday with some success. caught around a dozen trout with only 2 keepers(grand daughter caught both and her boyfriend was a little embarrassed)one little red and a slew of hardheads and gafftop. one huge ladyfish that slung the hook in mid air. then the boat motor decided to start acting up and we called it a day. smooth move Posted July 17, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 17, 2016 got the report on the boat. throttle body is bad. 1st one they've seen go bad. just my luck. warranty covers it, but they say i've got carbon build up in the cyl's and need a $400 decarbon job. really? at 84 hrs---carbon build up? looks to me like the bad throttle body caused it and it should be covered by warranty. will try to get in touch with yamaha warranty folks tomorrow.
