We are renting a condo on west side and planning on fishing west bay. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. Drift confederate ? Give me some ideas.. Throw primarily arties.. I was going to wade the wall and snake island but not sure with the reports of vibrio... Might just drift.. Also.. smooth move Posted June 22, 2016 Report Share Posted June 22, 2016 when you come out of Pirates just stay a couple hundred yards off the shore heading N/E untill you get to the confederate area. then slow down and follow someone in. it's well marked on a gps. the old ICW runs down the middle of west bay and intersects the new ICW just past N Deer Island. about a 1000 yards north of that intersection is a piling marked channel into Offats to the right. also on a gps. google earth is really a gift.
