dgfannon Posted July 12 Report Share Posted July 12 2006 2200 TE scuppers. I'm looking for a better option than the original scupper flaps. These are prone to lay under the water when in the slip and would like to figure a way to keep them closed when this happens. Along the same discussion, what automatic bilge pump do y'all recommend because I'm now on my third rule pump. And is there a different placement recommendation than what the factory did, which is barely accessible. Maybe a reliable pump will help keep scuppers out of water too when unattended. Moderator Posted July 13 Report Share Posted July 13 For a wet slip, yes ! Rabud scuppers are the safest when properly installed. Also, watch the weight distribution in the boat so the scuppers aren’t under water. The deck level is very close to the top of the drains.
