RacerxV6 Posted January 26, 2022 Report Share Posted January 26, 2022 Hey guys, Getting ready to wire in the new Helix 8 on the bow and was wondering what size wire should I use to go from the bow to the console where the accessory switch is that powers up the console unit. I figure I would tie it into the same switch that powers up the console unit. Also, was thinking of adapting some sort of plug like the TM unit has or should I just solder the unit power leads to the wire that I run and not worry about it? I know I need to make some sort of pass through to get the wires into the bilge area in order to run them to the console which is why I was thinking of a plug that way it is sealed and no water will get into the bilge from there.
