Ono Loco
Hello All - just picked up my 2013 2200 TRS (first Pathfinder - coming out of a Contender ) yesterday and was going through it - really impressed. It appears that the LW's have a decent amount of insulation on them so I was curious how they work as a cooler/fishbox? My boat has the optional port side LW which honestly I will prob never need for bait in TX. Seems like a good spot for trout, smaller reds ,and flounder. Easy to clean as well. HoneyB
I never try to use it as a stand alone cooler. I do enjoy using it as a release well though. The video of this is much cooler with the trout swimming around in there.
Waterman18
It's not great for a cooler. It'll do in cooler months with a bunch of ice.
smilemaker
The problem using it as a cooler is that the lid is not insulated. If you simple place a couple of towels on the top to help keep things covered it will help.
Bamaskeet
I used the livewell on my 2200V as a fish box all the time. It held ice ok and was easy to rinse.

That or gasket around the seal and a good latch
Ono Loco
What kind of core do the hatches use? I assumed some sort of foam?
