2004 2200 TE Repower

I have a 200 Yamaha VMAX HPDI with a blown cylinder. Gasket went bad, water got in, rest is history.

Question is now to repower or rebuild? Rebuild would obviously be a quicker option assuming parts are available but a repower would ensure a longer warranty and obviously a brand new motor but problem is you cant find a motor anywhere these days readily available.

If it were up to you what would you repower with? I am of the opinion go ahead and put a 250 SHO on the back and be done with it. Any other opinions?

Thanks in advance

I am leaning to a 250 Suzuki I think considering price point and availability I can find. Heard Yamaha anywhere from 4 months to a year out. Anyone have good or bad to share with zukes?

If I was going to repower it would be a Zuke no question about it. Only heard good things about it including cost and wty.  200 is very good on older 2200v models.
