HewesYourDaddy
Do you know what year the motor is? I'm only asking because it may be upgradeable to the newest ipilot hardware like I just did to mine. That may help someone make a decision on purchase. Big Dave
Thanks; not sure. Based on the serial number, I think it might have been manufactured in 2012. I think Mike has had it for about 7-8 years.
HewesYourDaddy
If it's a 2012, you can upgrade using this parts kit.. https://northlandmarine.com/collections/ipilot-ipilot-link-upgrade-kits/products/minn-kota-rt-st-to-bt-ipilot-upgrade-kit-sw-2774150-24-36v

HewesYourDaddy
That’s a great candidate for an upgrade to the current IPilot, for anyone interested in this item. I can answer questions on the upgrade if someone wants to know anything about the process.

Thank you. When you get the full IPilot V2 upgrade, it comes with a new “motherboard” for the base of the trolling motor. It also comes with a new GPS enabled head, as well as a new heading sensor puck, a new IPilot remote, and a new center panel with LED “diagnostics” for the batter condition and power switch . I just took mine out today to do the heading and offset calibration. Once those functions have been completed, this unit will hold on a dime.
