greenbone
My grandson and his friends just graduated high school and wanted to do some fish’n before staring college in fall. Took them to the shallows off Dog Island for a little red fish’n. Action was pretty fast and furious at times with double hookups at times. Cut mullet was our bait, water temp 84, clarity very good. 3 reds were harvested, 22 ,24,& 26” . The largest was 29” , released to fight another day. Miss Jazzy
How was the water over that way? I was at St. George this past weekend and the water in the bay was bad murky and the farther west to St. Vincent is was plum muddy orange looking. Didn’t get a bite until I went east of the bridge and it was still dingy.

Miss Jazzy
That’s where we finally got a few fish. Few trout and rat reds.
Bamaskeet
Apalachicola Bay flushes better to the East. So anytime there is a lot of rain or wind, the East side of the bay will clear up much faster than the West side.
greenbone
The bay is total Tanic for next 2-3 -4 weeks thanks to all these TS and rain. Like Bamaskeet said, farther east will be better sooner. Turkey Point should be on fire come October .
