Ico_BF77
I’m restoring a 77 bonefisher, this is my first restoration and I jumped in blind knowing I was going to have a BIG learning curve. The boat had several soft spots and water in the transom when I got it so I tore it down to just a bare hull. I’ve replaced the transom with coosa, stringers also with coosa and 3 layers of 1708 using epoxy resin. My first question (of the many I will have) is, what do I use to bond the floor to the stringers? Is there some sort of product like arjay that I can use with epoxy or do I just use thickened epoxy? I don’t think I can get enough working time out of cabosil right now. Any and all recommendations welcome.
fishmanjj
West system 105 resin based epoxy. It works very well for this type repairs.
Ico_BF77
It’s not so much a repair as it is a complete restoration
