Fish5
2015 Yamaha f300, 250 hrs, can be running on plane and motor shuts off, no warnings, all numbers look normal at time, voltage drops but I assume it’s because it just shut down, it will instantly crank back up, and voltage goes back to normal, So googled and there was a lot said about battery cables, so checked and tightened all of them. Oil level is perfect. Im lost Any ideas? Thanks
jh141
My SHO did that. Started checking things. Found this under the shrink. It was hidden by the shrink tube.
FINCHASER
Usually theres a block where the engine batteries are connect and another set of + and - wires go from there to the starting battery. This is always the case if the starting batt is not right next to the motor (rigging box).... Id start there 1st, check the wire ring terminal connections and the block itself

Thanks for the insight.
