Headhunter
My buddy has a 2000 RF18 that gets water in the bilge when he washes the boat? Where should he look for the leak? I am thinking the over board deck drains? Any help here is appreciated.

coopaloopa
I have heard the sealant in the deck scuppers can dry out over the years.
fin-addict
May be around the scuppers as states. Have him check the screws holding the console in place and inside the console for voids. Is the console sealed around it to the deck.

If water can get into/onto the floor inside the console, the large hole in the floor where the rigging/wiring penetrates, is an easy place for water to flow into the bilge. Headhunter
Thanks everyone. My buddy found a cracked drain tube where it exits the hull plus a void under the console. He says he is good to go!
