MikeYZ1963
Hello everyone. I recently ordered a 2600HPS and am wondering about current lead times. My dealer says six months but I'm skeptical. I think\hope it's shorter. What say you?

Many factors involved with Resin being the biggest issue. Yes we have had to decrease production here. As Kent stated above, at present the backlog on the 26HPS is about 12 weeks but we expect that to increase as we are forced to move build starts back depending on the Resin we get or do not get. Resin is not the only issue, many others including engines, electronics, foam, metal tubing etc... This is not a MBG issue, every manufacturer is dealing with this now. Alfa1023
We ordered our 2600TRS in late October 2020 and were originally hoping for a March delivery. The latest word is production will start mid-May. All the reasons Skip mentioned have impacted the build of our boat. Nothing we can do but sit tight and wait. MikeYZ1963
Thanks guys. Looking like 6 months is more accurate than I thought. No worries. My lift isn't ready yet anyway. 😊
MikeYZ1963
Hey Skip - How are the supply issues going?
MikeYZ1963
As an aside, does anyone know if we are given a choice of which prop the dealer installs? Can we ask them to install something they may not have in inventory? Curious if there is a price allowance for a prop so we can install whatever prop we want. Moderator
In my experience, the dealer rigs the boats with a recommended prop for the setup. Props have been hard to get, so the allowance is sometimes done to get it delivered. No hard & fast rules. Ask the salesman..
MikeYZ1963
My dealer says that there is a prop allowance as long as the price doesn't exceed the yamaha prop. Talked to my dealer yesterday and he says my boat will be done August 24th. So about 4 months. Awesome.
