Inshore1 Posted April 3, 2021 Report Share Posted April 3, 2021 Alright guys, time to replace the console running lights(OEM Perko). Originals lasted 15 yrs so no complaint there! I don’t mind coming off tha hip for essential items, especially when safety is involved and want to find a good LED pair that will last. I’ve been looking at what looks like the direct replacement Perko lights which are $225 and made of chrome-plated bronze but the reviews are less than stellar. Says that the plastic is not UV resistance and will eventually crack and fail. Anyone found a better option out there for long lasting running lights? These will be going on the side of the console of a 21 Master Angler. I’m sure I should just buy the Perko’s and move on down the road, but for $225 you would think there would be a nice stainless option out there that will last.
