Toeknee217
Hi guys! I have a question on what I thought was a crustacean well on my 1990 Hewes Redfisher. I was always under the impression that these corner wells were free flowing crustacean wells like on my buddies 1992 bonefisher but I only have one drain plug at the very bottom rather than two or three to be able to play with the height and prevent the water from draining while I run. Looks to me like I can only use this well as a live well?! I do have it plumbed to be able to do so but would rather not run a pump all day if I don't have to. Shallowminded6
You could plumb a pvc pipe and 90 it up to control water level.

Rather not drill any more holes in the boat. I just figured the older redfishers would've had that flow through design too.
Shallowminded6
Not sure what you came up with. But this is what I was referring to.

Oh thanks I did not picture that when you said to 90 it up. That seems very doable! Would just need to add some sort of filter mesh.
