redzone1
Not a master angler hull - looks like a redfisher lap strake hull but without the laps
Toeknee217
I saw them at a recent boat show. I believe its the old Seavee 18 mold which was a copy of the lapsided Hewes but heavier/beefier and had a running pad. Very nice boat for the money! He has the original lap sided mold as well form Seavee. The old seavee had a max hp of 225 vs the 150 on the Hewes.
geeviam
Good looking hull. I like the pad on the keel with the forward fin to help with tracking. Website needs some more work. The "Built Strong" caption shows a picture of the chopper gun skin-coat in the mold. Need to see more than that. IMO, any production boat/skiff built today with claims of quality construction, but isn't made using VE resin with vacuum infusion technology, may be good for a fling - but not a long-term investment that will retain value. ALL boats are expensive. Better to spend a little more in the beginning, than a whole lot later on. Buy one built like a Maverick!
SouthernWake
There are a number of companies running around with a similar mold to the old redfisher. Vtech has had it awhile, Dusky has one as well as few as others in the past (prosports, Calba, etc). Agreed with the above on the construction. I'd love to see the old lappy mold built with todays updated techniques and materials.
