mdemott
Yes, under Internet Explorer 11 the site looks like it is devoid of any photos or graphics. When did this change and by the way, change it back.

Capt. Troy
Still can't post pics using imgur. Â How do you post pics now?

Posting seems simple.  Down at the bottom of your posting, there is a space that says, "Drag files here or choose files..." Seems to work well except, perhaps with files that are very large.  Bye the way, if the kids ask what the Osprey are doing in the second photograph - "practicing acrobatics" could be you answer unless it's time for that "Birds and Bees" talk - if so, this is half that story.🙂
Popular Post Capt. Troy
Thanks Ron Ran across this girl Monday. Haven't seen one this heavy in a while. I weighed her in the landing net to prevent hanging her from the Boga grip. Â 39 inches and 22 lbs

I wish others would do so....so many people don't realize they tear their lower jaws... On the smaller ones I always just do the turn them upside down on their back and they go to sleep to take out the hooks.. Well done... Live bait I'm assuming ? dc
Popular Post Capt. Troy
I just got the Maverick back together from the fuel issues so I went for a test run Monday by myself. Well, much running was not gonna fly due to sea fog. So I went and netted some bait and went to fishing.  Caught a few nice trout and some small snook and it started raining through the fog.🤔 Ran a little south to get out of the rain. First bait in the pot hole and it looked like a toilet flush. Fish did the first blistering run and then did a charge the boat run and got behind me headed for Texas. Fight was not text book snook and now we are headed to deep water and 15 minutes into this. So, I decide to get out the gaff hook thinking cobia as I have seen them around this spot. Finally get her close and she is spent. Barely fit in the net. Quick measure and back in the water. Took a long time to revive her. 2 firsts for me. The longest fight ever on a snook and the heaviest for her length. landed on 10 lb test braid and a mere 25lb leader.
polliwog
I got broken off on a smaller fish the other day in 15 sec with a 40lb leader. You were lucky. Good for you. Love fighting snook.
RacerxV6
That's a beauty....been a long time since I hung a Snook.....Heading out tomorrow morning in 28 degree weather for some Lake Striper on Lake Russell in South Carolina.
Donh
Use a weight sling for the big ones ( this obviously not a snook). The slings are available from the West Palm Beach Fishing Club online if anyone interested , $65.
