reelhooked
I finally took delivery of my new 2500 last week and I'm using the engine break-in period to familiarize myself with the new ride. I have the standard Atlas Jack plate, but was surprised that the vertical lift stopped at 4" on the nose. I had expected at least another inch or 2. Is this what you get on your 2500 as well? I can make it work, but want to make sure that's what other 2500 owners see as well. Thanks
pbspecial
Mine is the same, jacks to about 4" and thats it
reelhooked
pbspecial. Thank you for taking the time to confirm the jack plate lift. I had the feeling that would be the case. Tight lines
Tall Tails
I second the 4" lift provided by the Atlas JP. It might be a little more than that but not much.

JimV520VX
Mine does too. Wonder why it’s limited to 4”? Any way to increase it to 6”? It would be nice to have the extra clearance.
BLAINE
I just noticed that this weekend as it was the first trip to Choko in my new to me 23 hps. It has a 6 inch sticker but the safety cable stops it at 4 inches. Can you put a 6 inch safety cable on it? Taking the boat in to tweak a few items and will ask. BLAINE
I measured mine and it is 5.5 inches of travel. T&H says they get the question all the time. He said 5.5-5.75 inches of travel is the normal range.
FINCHASER
A Buddy of mine recently bought a used 2500... his definitely goes higher than mine heres a pic of his measure tape. Looks like they will do custom set backs and lifts so his must have been custom. He says its a lil wobbly when its full up tho
