Ron in Atlanta
This camera is in great shape, it has become my 3rd camera and since I can carry only 2 cameras at a time, it's time to find it a new home. This would be a perfect camera to introduce someone to digital photography, and with the right lens, to wildlife photography. Most of you have seen my photographs on this site, e.g., Up until a few years ago, they were all taken with this camera. Plus, I volunteered for 4 years with the Atlanta Humane Society photographing dogs and cats that needed a home (a good photograph helps get animals adopted). I used this camera exclusively for that project... Yes, that is Nicki Reed demonstrating just how vicious Linda, the Pit bull, really is. Here is the camera... It comes with the perfect "walking around" lens a Nikon 18 - 200mm zoom lens. That is very wide angle to moderate telephoto. There is a bunch of other stuff that comes with it... The owners manual for any of these cameras *** canal water. With this camera, you get a good book on everything you need to know about using this camera, written is a clear, non-technical style. A few extra CF cards (the camera uses two cards at a time, a CF card and an SD card). Two batteries, a charger, a clear filter to protect the lens, a sun shade and a camera bag (not pictured). I am asking $375 for all this. If you really want to get into wildlife photography as I have, I also have a Nikon 80 - 400mm lens for $150 that you can add to the camera for a very good, beginner wildlife rig. Here is the big lens... A reminder, the Pathfinder makes a great platform for wildlife photography.
