Alopez0105
Hello everyone , I hope you can help with this problem that I am having . My courtesy lights switch is malfunctioning. After further research I was able to notice that the pin that inserts into the switch is loose and does no stay in place or stick like the rest of the switches dont. I have attached a photo for illustration . Has anyone had this problem before ? Essentially when I push the circled part in. It does not stay in place and comes right out. Thanks in advance. Lap it Up
Remove it, clean it with a little piece of sand paper, add the tiniest amount of dielectric grease and squeeze the female blade opening closed on both sides to tighten it up. Then reinstall it onto the switch post.
Alopez0105
Hey bud thanks for the quick reply . Thefemale connector is real tight to the blade part . How do I tighten the blade back into the actual switch? Thats what is loose , not the female connector part that goes over the blade. jh141
If the blade that the connector slides on to moves then the switch is bad. The blade is apart of the switch.
