Big Dave
Blessed to have another wonderful (albeit wet!) day exploring the backwaters of the Ten Thousand Islands yesterday, catching snook, trout, snapper, black drum and tarpon! Had to shelter in the Sweetwater Bay Chickee during a storm for about 45 minutes, and then basically got soaked all the way back to Chokoloskee! We waited at the dock for about an hour, then went back out for a couple of hours chasing black drum and tarpon in one of the rivers. Mike had a 35" snook and a nice tarpon hooked up but lost it after two jumps. We are so fortunate to have this park, the largest tropical wilderness in the US and the largest wilderness of any kind east of the Mississippi. Every time I go, I see things that bless and amaze me. I encourage you to live fully within God's creation. Take time today to slow down and notice the beauty of your world. Here are a few pictures from the day.
