Miss Jazzy
What do you recommend for protecting aluminum? Does the Zaino work? Need to protect my new T top from salt and hard water stains.

Need to protect my new T top from salt and hard water stains. I don't have a T top. What is the aluminum coated with? For my trailer, I use 3M Green pads and Sharkhide. If the T top is coated with something that shines, try Zaino on a small piece and see how she looks.
Miss Jazzy
Thanks. No coating just anodized. I’ve looked at the shark hide but dang that stuff is pricey. nearly $50 for a spray can. Maguire's makes it too for only $16. Just figured you had a go to product with great results as clean as you keep your stuff.
bernieNC
I have been using this stuff on t-tops for over 25 years. It is VERY easy to apply which is 9/10's of the battle. It does have an oily type finish which some may not like. A bottle goes a long way. Have not tried it on the trailer yet as the wet/oily finish may hold dirt but I am planning on giving it a try. https://shop.ruppmarine.com/collections/accessories/products/aluma-guard-16-oz-spray-bottle https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/3a2ab7_b2b8793b24d54a0b963301a98651d8d9.pdf
Miss Jazzy
Yea I don’t need anything that’s going to leave a oily residue behind. My top is a stand through and that would make for a sketchy climb up. Lol
SCFD rtrd.
My leaning post is anodized aluminum and I used Shark Hide. First and only coat was in 2013, still shines like new.
