jramm
Looking into options for a new 2200 TRS and wondering if there are any things to consider for adding an aftermarket/dealer installed T-top? I know it’s a common addition but curious if there are considerations which to warranty or anything else.
bernieNC
When I purchased my new ('13) 2200 TRS the dealer recommended I get an aftermarket installed T-top. I believe his exact words were " We can get one done that is better and less expensive than factory and you can get it built to your liking." I am glad I took his advice on that one. jramm
Thanks for the feedback. What size canopy do you guys have? Any idea of the factory size?
fin-addict
Think mine is 6x8. It goes from inside gunnel to gunnel. Hangs over back of t top and front console seat a few inches. Provides plenty of shade. Not a problem with casting decks.
jramm
Thought I would follow-up and share my install. Ended up going 5x7 with black powder coat and grey top. It’s been hot in Texas so I’m pretty happy to have it done.
