Chief5130
I built this tackle center for a gentleman in Tampa and have to find an affordable way to ship it there. It can be to a shipping depot if that is less, does't have to go to his home. I have not weighed it yet, but guessing 80 - 100 lbs. It can be to Orlando if that is more affordable. Does anyone know what is the most affordable way to send it?
rckeat
Chief: Seriously, call me the next time you build something like this. I would love to come to watch and learn. Really nice. BTW, I am no help on the shipping.
whichwaysup
Chief, look into Uship. I used it to bring my boat up from ft myers and I know linesider uses it a lot.
linesider 159
Uship is good for shipping large items. Let them bid and try to find the lowest bidder outside of uship, both you and transporter pay fees if you use uship so you can get the price down even further. The downside is you don’t get any payment protection when you don’t use uship
Chief5130
Thanks, also looking at Greyhound.
Chief5130
Update, finally got it shipped and delivered. Used a company called Crate and Freight. Only got one quote from Uship that was 2x what I paid and Greyhound was out as I was 5 Lbs over their weight limit.
