fishmanjj
I had a chance to go Saturday at daylight before the tide got low and the wind blew in. Strong bite on Zara Spooks with 9 keepers and about the same number of small fish to release....first time ever on topwater : 20” FLOUNDER in about eighteen inches of water on some oyster shells...he ambushed it like a shark...but all those treble hooks proved to be too much for him. Below are a few pics. 1
HewesYourDaddy
Glad you talked me into trying top water for trout, JJ. We hit the usual grass island at first light a few weekends ago and threw top water poppers. We turned the trout on to a frenzy. Definitely lots of fun?

I told you it’s a lot of fun...and if it’s cloudy...you can do it for a couple of hours. JJ
