footloose
I put a trolling motor on my mirage 2 and it blocks the visibility of my pop up bow light. What have you guys done to correct this? Thanks Tom
jim33042
Could you move lights to console?
footloose
Thought about a pole light on the console but would glare be a problem? I have a handrail that would block vertically mounted side light.
jim33042
Maybe this http://www.livorsi.com/pdf/LED Lighting.pdf Or a rub rail mounts on the bow https://www.ebay.com/i/372945253527?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=372945253527&targetid=876896754469&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=9011880&poi=&campaignid=9418895027&mkgroupid=98144267880&rlsatarget=aud-412677883135:pla-876896754469&abcId=1141016&merchantid=136054291&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4_qpi9Hm5wIVTj0MCh27AQO1EAsYAiABEgKcbPD_BwE
polliwog
I would prefer the console choice rather than cutting the bow area. The lights fixture should have shields to protect night vision from the rear.

footloose
Looking at the taco rub rail leds anyone know if there is room to drill through the rub rail to get into the bow area to wire up?
footloose
I ordered the taco rub rail mount leds. I’ll give a report on install and post some pics
HoneyB
Rub rail leds will look awesome
footloose
Easy install after removing pop up bow light. Had to drill out machine screws as it was through bolted with no inside access. Simple drill through rub rail and cap and some crimp connect wiring . Now if I don’t destroy them on docks I’m good
