DerekS MA18.5
Hi to all, This is a pic under the console of a hatch. I assume this is maybe access to the fuel tank but I am unsure? Also seems to be really stuck, caulking? thanks! Derek
whichwaysup
What year? My 2000 MA has that same part but it goes in the dry storage under the cockpit seat to cover the fuel tank inspection access. Normally there is a pie hole where that is. Guessing someone enlarged the opening and then used that to cover it, and caulked it to make it water tight. Just a guess though. Year will help.
jim33042
Could your access cover be under the black battery holder?

That hatch is factory and right behind the cooler seat. I am going out now to try and cut around it then get it out.

whichwaysup
interesting, so they either rotated the tank 180 degrees or moved it forward since 2000. My access is under the helm seat
