Popular Post pondfisher
With the water temperature finally down to an appropriate inshore grouper catching number, my first seasonal trip digging up gags at the big bridge was a success. Lots of break offs by huge fish, zero shorts, and two keepers (25” and 26”) to eventually reach my limit. Should only get better deeper into December.
SCFD rtrd.
Way to go pondfisher, I was waiting for someone to post about inshore Groupers. I fish further south and the Red Tide has killed or run-off all the inshore Grouper. I really miss it. Nothing can match the feeling of close quarters Grouper combat/fishing. When you get thumped you only have about 5 seconds to get the fish high enough in the water column to not get broken off because the structure is so thick! “Combat fishing” is an accurate description. That red tide is creeping closer to us too. 😡

AntonRx
Nice man! Waiting on repairs to be done soon so I can get out there too. Where do you usually put in at? Maximo? Haven't tried there yet but hear it's nice.
