wstubbs89 Posted October 8, 2019 Report Share Posted October 8, 2019 1999 16' Hewes Bayfisher Lappy w/ 90 Yamaha 2 Stroke I bought this boat about 3 years ago and have performed the following updates since: Replaced fuel line from tank to motor. Replaced fuse panel, battery switch, circuit breaker, any poor wiring replaced. Installed a Garmin Echomap 54cv with through-hull transducer. Installed a pair of Wet Sounds SW808 speakers, an HTX400 amp, and a JL audio bluetooth receiver. Installed 24v 80lb Minn Kota Ipilot. Installed Minn Kota 3-bank battery charger. Installed 3 new batteries (1 starting & 2 for ipilot). Had carburetors cleaned, spark plugs, gear oil & water pump changed. Replaced stock hatch in splash well with an Armstrong. Replaced live well pump and thru-hull. Replaced port-side trim tab actuator. Replaced cable steering system. Added rod holders to poling platform. Replaced garboard drain. New Carpet and winch on trailer. The boat is located in St Simons Island, GA. Previous owner had the boat for 16 years and only used the boat a few times per year in fresh water. Boat is currently kept in dry storage and can be sea trialed easily. The motor runs great - boat will run about 40 mph WOT with a light load. Includes an aluminum trailer and custom full-boat cover both in good condition. Also has cushions for the front of console. I can add pictures of these if anyone would like. Boat is turn-key. The only thing that doesn't work is the trim indicator gauge. I have not bothered to fix this because I don't think it is needed.
