95 18' Lappy Face Lift!

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a 95 18' Redfisher and i love it. it needed a little TLC so a local by the name of Bob at Inshore Marine Specialties contacted me and said he might be able to help with some of my concerns. I spoke with him and I dropped the boat off Monday morning, I'm having him do a whole list of things including but not limited to:

1. Cut front deck and replace fuel tank (New aluminum fuel tank sprayed in LineX with all new fuel lines)

2. Re wire whole boat.

3. Poling platform sprayed in LineX

4. New bow lights installed into the sides of the

hull

5. Console stripped and re done

6. Various gel coat work

I will be posting pics as he goes, Super stoked to get the boat the way I want it. Here is the tank removed

Awesome! I have the exact same boat and engine and have been considering adding linex to my poling platform as well.

Only other think I would suggest is adding some sort of marine gas springs for the latches while you have everything apart.

Can't wait to see the finished product!

you did, quite literally, lift the face didn't you?!?!?

the pics without the deck and tank shed some light on why it was so hard for me to fish wires from the console to the front, that little lip will do the trick!

Sorry for the misplaced words, I meant to say "I would highly recommend Bob from Inshore Marine Specialties. Good down to earth guy. Great work!"

Cell phone keyborads are not user friendly

Here is the latest update on the Restoration project. Console is out and stripped, ready for all the holes to be fixed and patched and new switch panel. All the wiring has been removed and is now ready for complete marine re wire. Should be getting the fuel tank and poling platform back by this weekend from Line X I Hope.

Here is the latest on the Face Lift Being done by Inshore Marine Specialties. Bob has completely filled all the old holes on the console and made it look like new with a couple of coats of gel coat. He also installed the new LED nav lights in the front and will eliminate the bow light. More pics soon to come!

Almost there! Pumps are in. Back of the boat is wired with new battery switch and circuit breakers. Poling platform is back on. No just some fibergl*** and gel coat work, bolt the new trolling motor on and finish up some wiring! I'm very happy with the work Bob at Inshore marine specialties does!
