Was the V introduced to these to raise the deck some due to water coming in from scuppers? I believe the XL's were for stronger transoms for 4 strokes?

Thanks and GLWS. This is priced right and looks like a great boat for someone wanting to move up from a flats boat like me. Just a little early for me, but exactly what I'm looking for to re-power down the road.

FMB Megalops. I’d be lying if I gave you an answer about the V’s deck. I honestly don’t know.  Someone on here I’m sure has an answer to it but in regards to water coming in from the scuppers... the boat does get the typical water on the back deck.

I do have the golf ball style covers on the transom which help a little bit but I have valves in the bilge in line w my drains that I can close to stop any water from coming back through them.
