flatwater
Not sure but that would be a super fun restoration project!!!
MuddyBottomBluz
Yes it is, two additional lapstrakes more than the flats boats. It is either a Sailfisher or a Marlin. There is an old Hewes Tarpon in the vintage section. They also made a rare ski boat called a Wild Cat, same hull as a Redfisher but with a top cap set up for a ski boat. The twin motor set-up is really economical and runs great. My brother-in-law was the lead mechanic for Bob Hewes on the Miami River back in the days and they had a boat the same as that and would use it to re-float boats that sank. He said that motor combination would pull the boats up no problem. It's a cl***ic for sure! Somebody posted the same boat for sale about a year ago on here, something about the transom needed to be re-done??
Lap it Up
I remember this boat being talked about a while back as well. It definitely would be a unique restoration project for someone if the price was right. $4,500 seems steep to me.
justfish
This boat has popped up a few time in my tenure on here. I'd love to see someone bring it back to life. Close the transom and hang a big single on it. It would have a ton of room being a 3 piece boat already.
