Today is looking good and we've got a bunch of boats going out in a local club tournament. Unfortunately I won't be fishing from a MBG product until next tournament, but there are a few guys fishing on Pathfinders in the group. Hopefully we don't find that infamous sandbar today, and return with a live well full for the weigh-in. Full report to come this evening...... We spent an hour fighting that storm cell while offshore trying to get into McQueens. Maybe a fish pic later. There are normally trees visible in the background of this pic. We ran into a group of friends on several boats. No one had anything for the most of the day. We left in search of fish at different spots. The guys that stuck around for another hour ended up with some really nice fish when the bite turned on. Story of my life..... Here I am trying to maneuver a 22’ “bay boat” thru Bird Island Cut.
