Donh
Was researching the web for favorite snook flies and came across this little beauty endorsed by a couple of well known guides. A challenge to say the least for this novice. It's tied with a rabbit strip and and fox fur. However, I made a major mistake and used fox fur instead of fox tail. With the fox tail, which has more body than fox fur,the head can be trimmed much like spun deer belly. Couldn't do that with the fox fur. Next time. The receipt calls for splitting the tying thread and spinning the fox fur. Tough on old eyes. Anyhow this is the results. Still looks fishable.
