DavisIslander
Recently installed my new garmin and I love it! Problem is the screen gets very hot, hot to the touch! Is this normal? Or should I turn down the intensity? Thanks, Been fishing a lot and happy!
MuddyBottomBluz
By the name of the subject tittle I literally thought you were selling a stolen Garmin GPS since you posted in the classifieds section. I would re-post in General forum.
Coto
I don't recall my garmin screens being hot and the brightness is always set at high. I would call their customer support and ask, they have always been great when I needed answers.

Called them and they stated it's perfectly normal for the screen to get hot, especially down here in Tampa! Cool Beans!

When I had my large Garmin 3212..it would get very hot...I would carry a white towel, soaked in fresh cool water and leave it on the unit when not running...I found sometimes when it got so hot, it would not operate properly and the screen would fade.... this was back in 2005. dc
