Miss Jazzy
Ordered three large sheets for my Jon boat build I’m doing. Done the same last year. Great deal!
Happy Lappy
Any tips and tricks to cutting and routering? I ordered two full sheets. One gray and one black. I'm assuming to laminate the two pieces together all I have to do is to pull the white paper backing and stick the two pieces together.

Never done this but I would think you could only do it with the brushed finish on the bottom one and not embossed. i have never routed it but never had any issues using a razor blade to cut it. Happy Lappy
just got off the phone with Seadek. They highly recommend against doing this. They use a flame lamination process only available through custom shop like Custom Castaways. They let me cancel my order. That would've been frustrating. I'll order a few items just for the good customer service.
HoneyB
That backing is no where strong enough to bond two sheets together.
Compton
I picked up some SeaDek remnants from Fiberglass Florida and installed it on my Gheenoe. Once I cut the SeaDek to shape/size, I used a cheap HF trim router with a bull nose bit and routed the edges. Super easy and turned out really nice. The thinner material may be a little more difficult to route.
