SaltySouth
Here’s my refurbed 2000 hpxt up for sale. 2009 Yamaha 50 with 90 hours. I have owned it about a year and a half. It is an amazing skiff and I spared no expense dressing her up. Selling due to an elbow injury that is keeping me from fly fishing and polling for any long period of time. Looking to get back to my roots like an 18RF or maybe 17MA for trolling motor purposes. $16k obo Bluffton, SC Refurb includes: Awlgrip paint on topside. Awlcraft for slicks and console. Stiffy pushpole holders instead of the original flip up track system. Garmin 74DV tucked inside console. Bubbler inside crustation well. New switch panel and fuel panel. Seadeck under gunnels and polling platform. Birdsall casting platform bolt. Friction hinges for rear hatches. New rub-rail. Maverick fiberglass cooler/cushion. Holler at me if you are interested. 8438167475
Coto
I’ve done a lot of fishing in one of those with a 70hp on the back. How does it perform with the 50?

How does it perform with the 50? I love the 50hp! It jumps up fast with the 4 blade and tops out around 33-35mph WOT with gas and gear. I have riden on one with a 60 4-stroke but never a 70 so I can’t compare.
Donh
Had a 2001 with a 70 hp. Not quite as fast but think mine was water logged. Loved that skiff. dh
