Reel Loco
Just spoke with the manager at Tarpon Lodge. They are booked solid every weekend in May. They could do the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th weekend in June. They have a total of 22 rooms in the $135/$300 range. Food would be around $80/person which would include an hour of beer/wine before & after the dinner of which the entree would be the same for the entire group including apetizers. Not alot of accomadations but some of locals may not need a room. Tween Waters seems to be a little less expensive than SSPlantation.... http://tween-waters.com/ RL
Reel Loco
My vote would be Tarpon Lodge. Much more of a local feel and cool vibe. Would be a lote less too. X2. We might be able to secure a group rate as well. Group rate good idea!
DblPly
Bokelia would be good... There are also places on the south part of the island if the Lodge got full...
charlie johnson
I've secured the Tarpon Lodge on Bokeelia for the nights of June 26 and 27th. http://www.tarponlodge.com/home/ It's a little later than the original plan, but the fishing is still good and the out of season rates are better. The place is all ours for those nights, but they only have 22 rooms, so book early. There's a great marina next door and plenty of room for trailers for those who live close by and don't need to stay the night. Stay tuned for more details and a registration form. This is going to be a great time!

charlie johnson
Alright crew, the registration form and itinerary are up, https://www.mbcboats.com/owners-tourn-reg.html. We've reserved the full dining facilities at the Tarpon Lodge for Friday and Saturday nights. The menus are still being finalized, but I ***ure you the food will be excellent. (And the fishing shouldn't be so bad , either) Let's get this tournament started again with a bang! Hope to see you there.
FLfishchaser
Can anyone recommend an alternate place to stay for the tournament ? I would really like to attend but the Tarpon Inn is booked full. Thanks
wheres the fish
We usually stay at the Two Fish Inn in St. James City on Pineisland. The owners are real nice people. It's apx. 12 miles from the Tarpon Inn.

goodadvice
Also, Cabbage Key is owned by the same folks. If you call Tarpon Lodge they can tell you if there is any availability out there.
Joe M
Hey y'all, Just as an FYI, the Tarpon Lodge website shows no vacancies for the weekend of the SW FL owners tournament, but I called the Tarpon Lodge today and was able to get a room for me, my wife and granddaughter and a boat slip for my 22 Pathy for Friday and Saturday nights. I do believe they have some rooms available. If you have never been, the Tarpon Lodge is outstanding on every level. Looking forward to meeting all of you! flatwater
My wife and I will be staying at our Family's vacation home on Sanibel and running over to the lodge in our Redfisher. We are both very excited! These are the waters I grew up fishing so I can't wait to try out a few of my old spots and meet some fellow owners. Trying to talk my dad into joining in the fun with his Pathfinder as well.
Headhunter
Just had to cancel my reservation at the Tarpon Lodge for the tournament. If someone needs a room they need to call asap. The grand kids opted for baseball camp instead.
