rubble Posted August 18, 2018 Report Share Posted August 18, 2018 Ordered a Helix 12 to install a 360 imaging system at the bow. What is the best mounting option for that setup? rubble Posted August 26, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2018 Got the 12” to get it up off the deck where I can see it. The base is a piece of starboard cutout on the bottom where I can run the wires under the unit. And wouldnt have to make lots of holes in glass. The base is mounted to the glass and I mount the RAM or other now the BalZout to the starboard base. rubble Posted August 29, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 29, 2018 The Helix 12 is a beast. Pretty heavy but the BalZout mount has it locked up tight. I tried to get it to budge and I probably could have pulled the boat and trailer by the Helix. It did not move at all. You cannot tell but the BalZout is the 12" model.
