Josh B Posted November 12, 2013 Report Share Posted November 12, 2013 Thanks to the wonderful Veterans who so served I was blessed with a three day weekend! That means three days of fishing! We fished both inshore & offshore. Inshore we caught reds, snook, trout. Offshore we trolled big lipped plugs in 38-45 feet of water. Using wire was imperative, using 80 lb mono leader I lost two plugs right away to some toothy critters. After switching to wire we were fine. We caught a dozen or so grouper and 5-6 kingfish. We kept four grouper and two 10-15 lb kings. The two big grouper went 32.5 & 31.5 inches! Great weekend on the water & still loving the new boat! Josh B.
