truenative Posted July 11, 2018 Report Share Posted July 11, 2018 I'm a current owner of a 86 Hewes Stalker looking to jump hulls into a Redfisher or similar. My boat has a good running newer Yamaha 2 stroke 90 that I wouldn't mind moving to a new boat since most powered boats are out of my price range right now. I'm a little torn between putting the money into my boat or just going for something that already has the better storage and layout my wife would prefer for non-fishing days. I know a 90 would be under-powered on an 18 but we live in an almost exclusively idle area, as long as I can get up on plane, I'm not in a hurry. Just wanted to see what was out there.
