silverking
Have any of you fabricated a medium size livewell standpipe for your Pathfinder 2200's? I recently purchased a new to me Pathfinder and it came with a couple of the small and tall standpipes. However when I am back-country fishing with live bait I don't always want the livewell completely full with water as it increases the weight in the back of the boat and to some extent the draft and hole shot. The small stand pipe is to small for white baits. I am looking for an in between option. Is the best option just to buy a tall pipe and then cut it down to a smaller size or have any of you come up with a better solution.
fishmanjj
Hacksaw.... cut it to the size you want / need. Those domed caps will pop off with a little pressure and then super glue back on when you get height correct.
silverking
That is what I ended up doing, cutting one of the tall standpipes to the size I wanted. Going to check the height next time out. Holding off on putting the dome back on in case I decide I need to cut it down a little more. Thanks for the guidance.
