Carolinadrifter Posted May 9, 2018 Report Share Posted May 9, 2018 What’s the best way to mount the minn Kota quick release puck on the 18 master angler? Mine has been ripped off three times. I can’t figure out a good way to get underneath the bracket to put nuts on the bolts. I currently just 5200 the screws back in the wallowed out holes. I was thinking about getting an aluminum plate made to tap screws into but even getting that all the way up there seems tough. Help!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

triplec Posted May 24, 2018 Report Share Posted May 24, 2018 What Hurricane says....I think they all MA's have a plate and the stainless togglers work great if you have already drilled through the plate enough so that you can't tap threads in. I just installed mine and it took one guy on the top screws with a bit driver and another guy taping the washer and locknuts to the wrench and guestimating under the deck. PITA. !
