Headhunter Posted April 23, 2018 Report Share Posted April 23, 2018 My extinguishers were not part of the Kidde recall but I decided to change them out anyway. I looked at the First Alert marine product and found they had metal triggers and handles that loved the magnet. Didn't seem like it would work in a salt environment so I checked a new Kidde, same thing. Finally the guy at West Marine told me there are no more plastic triggered extinguishers and everyone went to metal because of the Kidde recall. It doesn't look like these will last long. jason p Posted April 23, 2018 Report Share Posted April 23, 2018 Maybe ignition sealer, it's a CRC / NAPA aerosol product for battery terminals, etc...
