A little long rod action on black drum. Not today though. Resting...late in the night banging dock snook. All shorts.

P.S. Daren never smiles, just catches the most fish😄

Finally on the board on my own thread.  Being down a boat really stinks.  Thank goodness for good friends with  boats.

Hit a little freshwater lake here in town and eneded up with 9 bass in 2 hrs.  Son lost two, and my buddy landed 5.  not a bad morning!

Got to the ramp bright and early but had to wait until the storms passed to launch. Turned out to be a good day. Caught 4 reds, bunch of trout and other trash fish

That last Redfish is so perfect it looks fake. What area do you fish, look like LA?

I fish the northwest/panhandle region of Florida,  just south of  Tallahassee.

Couple from our vacation this week in Big Pine. The smaller Mango in the group of 4 was about 17 inches. We only got in about 45 minutes of fishing before storms ran us off. We left them biting.  Thanks to the forum members here and elsewhere the two families are taking home memories that will last a lifetime. I've picked up information here from a bunch of great guys and either it paid off or I was a blind hog finding lots of acorns this week. We will see if we can do it again in 19.  Not pictured is an 11 year old girl who got her first tarpon at No Name Bridge, he picked up a Carolina rigged pinfish. I got the touch on the leader before the leader chaffed.  We have pictures on a regular camera I'll try to add later.

The snook in South Florida have started moving out to the coast and beaches to spawn.  The last couple of trips I have managed to catch some 30 plus inch Snook as well as some smaller ones mixed in.   The redfish and especially trout have been biting in between the snook.
