Never an issue, yet (knock on fiberglass!). Leaving the OT in 2011, looking good pulling out of Breezy Palms. We were barely to Key Largo when I noticed one of the trailer tires was looking really low. Pulled off, changed it out with the spare, drove up to Bradenton where my brother lives. Took the bad tire to a shop the next day - the tire itself was fine, but the valve stem had gone bad. Replaced all three valve stems with bronze (brass?) ones then and there. Going to replace tires on the trailer this month, and will specify the same beefy valve stems vs. the standard ones. Every little bit of risk reduction counts, especially when it's inexpensive.
