DavisIslander Report post Posted March 15, 2018 And if you did, where? Have a 04 RF18 and just curious as to where I should place it. Should I mount it or store it somewhere? Thanks, LOVE my new boat!
MaxBluFin Report post Posted March 18, 2018 Mounted mine under the tunnel against the back bulkhead with enough room to still plug the deck drains! Matt
Waterguy Report post Posted June 6, 2018 Great idea I haven’t mounted mine yet either. Been keeping it in the cooler. Thanks,
Drummer Report post Posted June 14, 2018 Mine is mounted just inside the console on the deck. Fits perfectly, and is readily available.
YankeeRedfisher Report post Posted February 25 I have an RF18 2004 also. I previously mounted my extinguisher inside the aft starboard locker . Mounted it on the outboard side. However, there was a recall on these extinguishers and the replacements are larger. I'm looking at this and hoping for a horizontal mount. I love my RF18 also 😎😎
Happy Lappy Report post Posted February 25 This is how it's mounted on my 92 Redfisher. Sit's in there nice and tight. FYI there's a new fresh one on the boat.

stank bait Report post Posted March 21 I think they are recommended to be mounted per Coast Guard. Would meet readily accessible requirement. Guess that way it would always be in the same place. Approved extinguishers must be sold with a mounting bracket. I mounted the bracket in inside the front storage.
